Haymarket hires new editor for PistonHeads

Haymarket Media Group has appointed Dan Trent as the new editor of motoring website

Trent joins from editorial agency Motoring Research, where he has been contributing to automotive websites including PistonHeads and MSN Cars. Before that he was editor of Mercedes Enthusiast magazine.

Stuart Forrest, publishing director of PistonHeads, said: "Dan joins PistonHeads at an exciting time in our development; we’ve seen considerable growth in our audience such that we’re now the UK’s second biggest motoring website."

PistonHeads was launched in 1998 and acquired by Haymarket in 2007. According to the publisher, it generates over 200 million page impressions per month from over four million unique users.
