Spinnaker wins web brief for leisure centres operator

Marketing agency Spinnaker has been appointed to develop a new website and digital strategy for GLL, the charitable social enterprise that operates over 100 public leisure centres.

The first phase of the site is due to go live early next year to capitalise on the growing interest in sport and fitness brought about by the Olympics in London.

Spinnaker was shortlisted to pitch following a public tender process and won the business after a final four way pitch.

Managing partner Robert Goldsmith said: "2012 is a key moment to get people excited about sport and fitness."
