Foursquare set to open UK office in London
Foursquare is set to open a UK office. The social media outfit is expected to open a London office by the end of the year in an effort to develop better relations with UK marketers.
Newly appointed head of business development, Omid Ashtari, will be responsible for building the London team and making contact with UK marketers.
“Foursquare is already extremely popular in Europe and I hope to continue expanding our footprint in the region by securing partnerships that are unique and groundbreaking,” Ashtari said.
Office locations being considered include the East End - home to London’s burgeoning tech sector start-up scene - and the West End, London's traditional advertising heartland.
