With government figures showing that more than 8.5m UK households do not have any form of room thermostat, the 'Be an instant hero' campaign urges installers to turn to Honeywell for their customers.

The integrated campaign includes point of sale, co-branded campaigns with merchant chains, trade advertising, a microsite, direct mail and sales promotion. There are also competitions and giveaways.

Andrew Woodger, data and planning director at Purple Agency, said: “With energy prices rising, the Honeywell campaign highlights the hero role which the installers can play by showing homeowners how to reduce their heating bills by adding a thermostat or the latest thermostatic controls."
