Dunelm Mill appoints Diffusion for online and social media

Dunelm Mill has appointed integrated PR and social media agency, Diffusion to oversee its online and social media strategy in the UK.

Top priorities for Diffusion are to build Facebook and Twitter communities, and to improve blogger relations for the interior design retailer.

Diffusion co-founder and director, Ivan Ristic believes social media can provide a real boost to Dunelm Mill and to the interior design market as a whole.

“Social media has already transformed many retail markets in the UK, in particular fashion, with consumers increasingly sharing their purchases and tips through haul video and also parenting where mums and dads are keen to share their tips.

"We see huge potential for Dunelm Mill to lead a similar trend in the home interiors market, particularly given the strength of positive sentiment that already exists about the brand in the UK."

Integral to Diffusion’s strategy will be identifying and building relations with influential interior design bloggers, something done very successfully by the fashion industry.

A series of blogger events will be held at store openings as Dunelm Mill expands across the UK.
