Bluewater appoints 23red as creative agency

Bluewater shopping centre has appointed 23red to handle its creative advertising account.

Having been appointed following a competitive pitch that was organised by the Recommended Agency Register, 23Red will be initially tasked with overseeing the Christmas campaign for the shopping centre, expected to launch in November.

It is understood that the 23red beat Nexus H and Farm for the contract.

Activity for the Christmas campaign will include TV, outdoor and press.

David Wilkinson, head of marketing for Bluewater, said: "23red really shone throughout the pitch process. The Christmas season is a key time of year for Bluewater and we were very impressed with 23red's creative suggestions for this period."

Media will not be affected following the review, while the RAR has also recently advised on the appointment of digital agency Pancentric by Bluewater.
