Purple Circle's bid book for Trent Bridge has helped the Nottingham cricket ground win the right to hold Ashes Tests in 2013 and 2016.

The Nottingham agency has revealed that it was responsible for the copy-editing, design and production of the document, which explained Trent Bridge's investment in facilities and strategy for the future.

Purple Circle's managing director, Michael Slack, said: "As well as investing millions in its facilities over recent years, the ground has a firm strategy for future development and growth - both as a club and a force in the local community. Indeed, that strategy - and the major matches it needs to attract as a result - is central to its very survival.

"Our job was to capture the essence of this vision in a beautifully presented bid document that showed - both in look, feel and tonality - that Trent Bridge means business."
