The company that produces Highland Toffee and Wham Bars, McCowans, maybe set to be saved from oblivion.

The BBC has reported that administrator Grant Thornton is considering at least two offers for the company which was placed into administration a week ago after over a century in existence.
Owners Ambrosia Holdings said that they believed the company was still ‘a viable business’.
Grant Thornton has said that another meeting between administrators and the staff at the factory, number over 10, will take place later today.
