Manchester City Football Club will become the first-ever Premier League team to host EA SPORTS dugout in Etihad Stadium.

Six station gaming hubs, with 40-inch screens that allow 12 players to play at once, will be placed in the newly refurbished Family Stand concourse.

The club’s match with Everton will give fans the chance to get up close and personal with an exclusive preview of EA SPORTS brand new FIFA 12 title before its official release on 30 September.

Nick Becker, head of events for Manchester City, said: “The new EA SPORTS dugout and gaming stations are part of a series of innovative match-day activities City fans can enjoy this season, both in City Square and in the Stadium’s Family stand.

“At this Saturday’s match we will be running FIFA 12 tournaments for City fans, with great prizes from EA SPORTS and MCFC both before and after the match.”

Nick Harford, football business lead at EA SPORTS, added: “We are delighted to be installing a new purpose-built EA SPORTS gaming area within the upper concourse family area at Etihad Stadium.

“Saturday’s activity represents the first of EA SPORTS bespoke Manchester City Etihad Stadium gaming areas, with further developments now underway.”
