2ergo announces Callcredit partnership while making operation changes

Mobile and marketing group 2ergo has announced a partnership with consumer data firm Callcredit Information Group, while stating that the company will also put ‘certain’ clients’ services ‘on hold’ while carrying out a review.

The partnership with Callcredit will see the two companies collaborate to provide corporate customers with mobile solutions that target users, based on mobile behaviour, as well as around financial and social background.

The group also expects to announce revenue of around £18m for the year ended 31 August.

Neale Graham, 2ergo CEO, said: "There is strong momentum in the business and our pipeline of opportunities is growing rapidly. We are seeing particular interest in our retail solutions and the power of our Mobile DNA solution to drive customer acquisition campaigns for clients.

"We are in discussion with a number of major retailers with a view to integrating mobile technologies into multi-channel marketing strategies incorporating our market leading solutions for the redemption of mobile vouchers and coupons.

"Furthermore, key client and partner relationships developed during the last year are now bearing fruit and are expected to drive the business forward into 2012.

"We are now looking forward to significant growth in 2012."

The company has also recently agreed a partnership with Gondola Group to develop a mobile app for Pizza Express and another with U.S. Cellular, for which it is providing mobile marketing consultation, project management and creative services.

The company has also altered its structure in an attempt to provide ‘clearer management responsibilities’ with Neale Graham acting as sole chief executive, with John Stevens and Colin McCaffery appointed as group manage director and group product and technical director respectively.

Lakestar has also been appointed by 2ergo to increase the company's search engine visibility and site traffic.
