The Huffington Post is targeting a new campaign at London commuters as it looks to build up its following of readers and bloggers in the UK.

It has worked with communications agency MBA to place interactive display ads around London to target morning commuters in major train terminals and 22 underground stations.

The ads use the strapline 'Blog all about it' and encourage viewers to air their thoughts on the big news topics through Twitter. Their responses will be posted on the digital displays.

James Middlehurst, managing partner of MBA, said: "Following on from the success of our first burst of activity for Huffington Post, we’re eager to continue to build a strong following of diverse readers and writers.

"The digital display boards, in particular, capture people’s opinions of the freshest news topics as they go about their daily lives. The ads position Huffington Post as the platform for anyone to have an opinion, and to voice it.”
