Online engagement is now one of the most important areas of the marketing and sales process, but still too many companies confuse a great looking website for a great functioning website. This webinar will help you figure out if your website is doing its job as effectively as it should be.

The webinar will cover many of the mistakes that companies, large and small, often make when commissioning and building their website, which all too often means that functionality suffering at the hands of appearance.

Technophobia has been designing and building web software for more than 16 years and in this webinar Technophobia’s Innovation Director Chris Dymond will provide some clarity around engagement as a concept, and share some of the thinking and practical experience that the agency has gained around this subject over the years.

Speaking of the webinar Chris Dymond said: “We’re all in the engagement business – you, me, everyone. Anyone in marketing, anyone managing a business relationship, anyone in sales, anyone in management, has to be able to engage with people in a way that works for all involved. When you think about it like that, engagement is as old as the hills. But it’s also new – especially within the digital side of business, where opportunities to engage flourish where they weren’t able to before.

If you’re not designing for engagement, you’re probably leaving money on the table. E-commerce, branding websites, social media, even intranets and online business applications – pretty much everything businesses do online is about engaging with people. Delivering all this stuff is about delivering either software or content or both – but thinking about digital business in only functional terms is exactly where lots of companies go wrong.”

The webinar takes place on Thursday 29th September at 3pm-4pm.
