The organisers of advertising charity NABS has called on the Scottish industry to offer their thoughts on the charity, in order that it may engage better in future.

Having recently cancelled its ‘Audience with Moray MacLennan’ evening due to a lack of ticket sales, Kate Harris and Giles Brooksbank have contacted members of the industry in Scotland for feedback through an online survey.

The charity has a number of fundraising events ahead including the NABs Art event this week in Manchester, and a comedy night on 25 October in Scotland, as well as NABs Month throughout the whole of October.

The letter can be viewed in full below.

Dear all

You may know that last week we had to cancel our "Audience with Moray MacLennan", as we were unable to sell sufficient tickets.

Another event is approaching - the Comedy Night on October 25th.

NABS month is also on for the whole of October.

We really need support for both of these things, in order to raise the funds needed to keep supporting people in Scotland.

So far this year we have raised around £5.5k but we have already spent over £40,000 helping people in Scotland.

Anyway, we need to know more about how you feel about NABS and what we can do to make you more engaged. So, we'd be grateful if you would take 5 minutes to fill in the attached survey. If you could please circulate it throughout your company with a real push to get people to take part, that would be wonderful.

NABS only exists because people in YOUR industry need it, but it needs YOUR support:

Many thanks,

Giles and Kate
