UK talk show host is set to break America as he takes his show Stateside from this month.

Kyle, who has broadcast over 1,000 episodes of his confrontational talk show in the UK, has already recorded episodes of the US version, which has been in development for over a year.

The programme will be broadcast on the FOX/CBS Network from next Monday 19 September, during the day.

When announced in January 2010, Kyle was quoted as saying: “I am really excited to be working with ITV Studios and Debmar-Mercury in the USA to recreate the success of the UK show stateside. I am particularly looking forward to meeting ordinary American people and hearing about their extraordinary lives. This show isn’t about me - it is about their issues and problems and how we can face them together – with complete honesty and openness - in front of US audiences.”
