CBeebies new site for Grown-ups has been launched, created and developed by Numiko.

The Leeds- digital agency was commissioned through @North to deliver the website, which is developed for adults and parents which show users how they can use CBeebies programme to aid their child’s development.

As well as this, an Extras section offers behind the scenes on the making of some CBeebies shows, as well as interviews with cast and crew.

Exclusive content and news will also be released through social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook.

Development on the site will be fully completed by October.

Kay Benbow, controller of CBeebies, commented: “We wanted to close the gap between CBeebies and Grown-ups so that parents and carers make a natural transition between the two.

“Grown-ups enhances and goes beyond the experience children have watching television. It uses the familiarity of CBeebies’ content while allowing parents and carers to have fun and learn alongside their children, helping to nurture their development.”
