Roger Cummings has been promoted by IPC Media to publishing director for IPC Connect’s women’s lifestyle portfolio: Woman's Own, Woman and GoodtoKnow.

Cummings (pictured) will start his new position next month, replacing Oswin Grady who moves to become publishing director for IPC Inspire’s three equestrian titles.

Cummings is currently associate publisher for Marie Claire, a post he has held since 2008.

Cummings said: “There have been a number of exciting developments in the woman’s weekly lifestyle market, so it’s a great time to be on board. I’m excited to be joining this award-winning team and I’m certain that my experience and grounding at Marie Claire will stand me in good stead.”

Fiona Dent, managing director of IPC Connect, said: “The Connect women’s lifestyle portfolio continues to go from strength-to-strength. In May we celebrated the highly successful development of Woman, the number one women’s lifestyle weekly, and more recently won an AOP award for GoodtoKnow, our market-leading and rapidly growing women’s lifestyle website.

“I am delighted to welcome Roger to Connect to run the women’s lifestyle portfolio at this exciting time, his talent and ambition make him the perfect person to drive our leading women’s lifestyle brands to even greater success.”
