Ribena has launched an interactive music app that allows users to remix their own version of Summertime by Mungo Jerry, the soundtrack to its latest ad campaign.

Developed by Leeds agency Brass, the 'Berry Mixer' web app is part of Ribena's summer music campaign which gives fans the chance to win festival tickets and free music downloads.

Those who fancy trying their hand at the app take charge of a band of berries and have to mix them and their instruments together to create their own unqiue recording.

“We were looking for ideas that helped further bring the campaign to life by engaging with our key audiences and allowing real interaction. The Berry Mixer that Brass has built does exactly that and perfectly fits with the wider campaign," said Ribena's Michael Walford.

As well as the app, Brass has worked on the online entry mechanic to win family festival tickets on ribena.co.uk, email activity, social media and online display. The work is based on the promotion which was conceived by Billington Cartmell.
