The VisitBritain ‘Great Britain 3D’ art campaign, the second stage of the ‘You’re Invited’ promotion, has left Singapore and is moving to Sydney today, following 3000 visitors and a proposal.

The tourism body had expected about 1000 people to get their photos taken on the 3D art pieces over the days that the display was in Singapore, but the final figure was almost triple this number.

There was also a marriage proposal on the Kate-and-Wills wedding artwork, which she said yes to.

The display is today moving to Sydney, with the canvases to be set up at Circular Quay near to the Opera House. This will be followed by Shanghai, Delhi, Calais, Utrecht, Stockholm, Milan, Los Angeles and Sao Paulo.
