O2 has today announced the launch of a Wake Up Call app, as part of its Get Up For England campaign, which lets fans choose a free England rugby wake up message.

Fans will also be able to choose to receive their wake up message from either England Team Coach Martin Johnson or England players Lewis Moody, Chris Ashton, Ben Foden and Nick Easter.

England kick off times are pre-programmed into the O2 Wake Up Call app, and will allow fans to determine when they would like to receive their wake up call on match days.

The app is available for iPhone and Android users, and will also feature video content filmed inside the England camp in New Zealand.

Nic Fletcher, head of sport sponsorship at O2, said: “Given the early morning weekend starts what better way for UK fans to get ready for a match than receiving a wake up call from Martin Johnson or one of the England team.

“As sponsor of England Rugby we want to encourage fans to show their support for the team and to help enhance their rugby experience. The Wake Up Call app or our special England Rugby Breakfast Packs are aimed at doing just that.”

As part of the Get Up For England campaign, O2 is also delivering up to 90,000 England Rugby Breakfast Packs for customers.
