Rippleffect poaches McCann Manchester's social media manager
Liverpool digital agency Rippleffect has hired Nicola Peate from McCann Erickson Manchester as its new social media manager.
Peate held the same role at McCanns and was responsible for managing social media strategies for clients such as Wickes, Halewood International, Makro and Very.co.uk.
Before that she led the digital output for anti-litter charity Keep Britain Tidy, which was where she first worked with Rippleffect's sales and marketing director, Kirstie Buchanan.
"Having worked with Kirstie before, I know how passionate she is about social media and I am delighted to be working with her again," Peate said.
Buchanan added: "Social media has a big role to play at the agency and having Nicola on board will ensure we're well-equipped to deliver innovative and effective campaigns for our clients.
"Her track record and brand experience speaks for itself and the appointment fits perfectly into the ambitious plans we've outlined for the agency."
