Erskine Stewart Melville School has launched a new website this week, created by Story.

The website has been designed to target prospective parents and pupils and has attempted to anticipate questions from parents by providing as many details of school life and information about the school and its education, fees and opportunities as possible.

Slideshows are also utilised with the aim of highlighting important contend, including the schools’ single sex education approach with a tab device also being used across the whole site.

David Gray, principle at Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools commented: “The website is really an extension of our school and is often the first contact we have with parents and pupils. It is so important that it lives and breathes our day-to-day life here, highlights our values and demonstrates why we are, indeed, ‘Proud to be different’”.

Sue Mullen, managing director for Story, added: “The challenge for us has been to deliver a website that goes beyond the realms of traditional school websites and communicates not just the ‘must-have’ information required by the school community but also the great warmth that shines through all the many aspects of school life there. ”
