Walkers denies parting ways with Gary Lineker

Crisp maker Walkers has denied reports it is to drop its famous brand ambassador Gary Lineker .

According to tabloid reports, Lineker and the company were to go separate ways. He has been the face of Walker's advertising campaigns since 1994.

According to Marketing, the marketing director for Walkers, Miranda Sambles, commented: “There is no change whatsoever to Gary Lineker’s role or relationship with Walkers Crisps. He plays a crucial role in our next “Three Simple Things” ad campaign to be released in September, and we can assure you will continue to make people smile at his love for the nation’s favourite crisps for years to come.”

Lineker is expected to appear in the new Walkers campaign breaking in September.
