talkSPORT, the football pundits haunt of choice, is heading to America after signing a deal with Sirius XM Radio to broadcast the sporting banter across the pond.

It will see the stations flagship programmes broadcast live to 21m satellite radio subscribers across America from this Saturday ā€“ coinciding with the 2011/12 football season.

Stateside subscribers will be able to tune into the Weekend Sports Breakfast for previews and exclusive interviews with all the big names alongside the opportunity to add their two cents to UK fans musings on Call Collymore, an anything goes football phone in hosted by former striker Stan Collymore.

Piers Collins, Business Development Strategist for talkSPORT, said: ā€œIā€™m delighted to be working with SiriusXM to bring talkSPORT to the US as the appetite for quality speech radio across the globe grows, and I look forward to hearing fans dialing in from the US.ā€
