Thorpe Park is running an online campaign created by Big Communications to build anticipation around its new rollercoaster, The Swarm.

Leicester-based Big has created a short teaser video for the theme park's Facebook page and a dedicated microsite to drum up interest among thrillseekers.

The microsite contains a further teaser video and more content will be added in stages to try to build excitement about the ride ahead of it opening next year.

Mike Phillipson, managing director at Big, said “The work we have done for Thorpe Park at this stage is about raising levels of anticipation for the new ride and we have approached it in a similar way to how you might promote a new movie release”.
