Changes at the top for YouGov America

Online market research agency YouGov has announced that the CEO of its business in the US, Doug Rivers, will become chief innovations officer and executive director of the board.

Rivers will now be tasked with leading the development of the agency’s key data products ad their exploitation.

He will also become chairman of YouGov America , while Doss Struse, managing partner of Defensive Insights has been named as the president of YouGov America where he will be responsible for its operational management after the acquisition of Defensive Insights by YouGov in April.

Stephan Shakespeare, CEO of YouGov plc, said: "We have delivered on our objectives during the last year and are well positioned for the future. Today's appointments will further strengthen our Group management team. Doug's focus on innovation will enable us to increase our share of revenue from scalable products, new methodologies and advanced analytics. Doss brings extensive experience in managing international research businesses which will help to maintain the rapid growth of our US business."
