Marketing services agency IAS is to open up a space in the agency's music festival next month to allow a rival agency band to perform.

An online competition will be launched next week by the agency through its Facebook page for the ‘iastival’ which will take place in September.

The competition will allow bands from other marketing services agencies to post links to videos of them performing onto the dedicated festival Facebook page.

The band receiving the highest number of ‘Likes’ on the page will be chosen to attend and perform at the Festival on Saturday 10 September, which is only open to clients, friends and family of the b2b agency.

Rob Morrice, CEO of IAS, commented: “Nobody else but us would possibly put on an event as big as this. And because we’re such good guys we thought we’d open it up to another agency to let them get in on the act.”

More details of the competition will be made available on the Facebook page on Monday it is understood.
