Energy drink Pussy appoints Golden Goose for PR

Energy drink Pussy has appointed Golden Goose to handle public relations ahead of a marketing push later this year.

Ad agency BMB took a stake in the drink company earlier this year, having won its £10 million advertising account.

Golden Goose will work on a viral campaign, a major business investment announcement, several new retail partnership announcements and movie sponsorship activity.

The energy drink brand was launched in 2004 by student Jonnie Shearer, and is aimed at upmarket nightclubs, with the market positioning of being ‘spontaneous, entertaining and fun’.

Shearer said: “Golden Goose PR is a creative agency with proven global media success. We were particularly impressed with its ideas for our viral and social media strategy and can't wait to start work on our campaign next month.

“Together with BMB, our recently appointed advertising agency, we plan to take Pussy to the four corners of the globe.”
