Manchester-based Photolink Creative Group has appointed Deborah Davies as head of creative talent.

Davies joins the creative, digital and photographic agency from Shop Direct Group, where she was photographic services manager.

She will now be in charge of bringing to Photolink new fashion and creative talent such as photographers, models, art directors, stylists and hair and make-up artists.

The Liverpudlian will also head up the team responsible for sourcing locations for clients' photographic needs.

“I’ve been obsessed with fashion photography from a very early age, and still get a thrill from discovering new models and photographers, and from seeing a whole production come together," Davies said.

"When I was Hangar Seven’s Director of Fashion, I was lucky enough to launch the company’s London studio, which gave me a firm grounding in making shoots work commercially as well as creatively.”

Davies will now get to grips with clients including John Lewis, Argos and Homebase.
