Yorkshire furniture firm Shackletons has been rebranded and launched a new logo, created by An Agency Called England.

The Leeds agency was briefed with creating a fresh approach in repositioning the company, with work including the website overhaul, a new logo, brochure, exhibition stand and print advertising campaign.

The new identity was designed to retain the core value of the Shackletons’ brand, while also adding a ‘modern’ feel.

“We wanted to inject a fresh, clean and contemporary look that brought them into the 21st century.” said Andy Brett, creative director for An Agency Called England. “First we conducted a brand analysis to determine what originally made this company successful and what their real point of difference was. Next we developed a plan that would storyline its core values and essential qualities that set it apart from the competition. We decided to focus on the theme of ‘Creating Comfort’ as this aspect is central to Shackletons’ 50 year heritage.”

“We chose a colour palette of blues and greens inspired by the colours of the Yorkshire Dales,” added Brett. “The website incorporates a lot of sophisticated techniques that enhance the viewing experience and make it easy to navigate. It’s also designed to make it suitable for viewing on mobile phones and devices,” he added.
