Former regional managing director of Northcliffe’s south west division Steve Anderson-Dixon is to take over the running of Trinity Mirror’s businesses in the Midlands following a restructure.

According to Hold The Front Page, the restructure will see the departure of both current managing directors, with Anderson-Dixon taking on the running of both offices, under group managing director Steve Auckland’s leadership.

Georgina Harvey, managing director of Trinity Mirror Regionals, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Steve to Trinity Mirror Regionals and the Midlands business. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in the regional media and I look forward to working with him.”

“I would also like to thank John and Debbie for their hard work and commitment to the Midlands businesses and I am sure that everyone who has worked alongside them in their time as managing directors will join me in wishing them all the very best for the future.”

Steve said: “I’m very pleased to be joining Trinity Mirror Regionals and working with the Midlands team to help shape the future of the business.

“The last few years have witnessed huge changes in our industry but what hasn’t changed is the need to deliver quality reach and response for advertisers through highly regarded and well respected newspapers and websites.

“I’m therefore looking forward to joining my new colleagues in the Midlands to build on the strong foundations that are already well established.”
