Having won the Scottish Government media buying account, as well as media accounts with Collaborative Partners, Office Depot and Rowan Glen, Feather Brooksbank, has restructured its internal operations.

The restructure includes 10 new members of staff, with recruitment still underway, while Stuart Bell has returned to the Scottish office having headed up its Manchester operations for the last four years.

Bell will take on overall responsibility for the Scottish Government and the Collaborative Partners Communications Planning team, with Chris Ashworth, head of strategy and account director Angie Elsely taking over responsibility for the Manchester team.

Renu Plahe has joined the press team from MCHI in London, while Shona Deas, who worked with STV, has joined the broadcast team. Caitlin MacNamarra has also joined the broadcast team having previously worked at Bauer Media Scotland.

Peter Sanchez has been hired as digital account manager from Optical Express, with Jayne O’Neill leaving MediaVision to become an account manager and Julia Boxer, an account executive who was formerly at Realise. Scott Hampton has also joined from Crush Digital as digital project manager.

Paulo da Costa from Universal McCann in Portugal and Kate Casey from OMD have also joined the agency and Jade McKerracher has joined from MediaCom as an account executive.

International promotions see Carl Brady in Manchester become broadcast account director, while in Scotland Alison Black has become account director in the Scottish Government and Collaborative Partners Communications Planning team.

Janette Harrison has developed her role to oversee all other communications planning in Scotland, whilst continuing to run her own group of accounts.

Stuart Feather commented “It’s great to have the opportunity to firstly develop the careers of our own people, but also take on some new blood across such a diverse range of roles and specialisms. We’ve purposefully looked outside of our direct competitors in order to grow the talent pool in Scotland, and bring new experience and thinking to the company. We’re extremely pleased that Feather Brooksbank continues to attract such strong candidates from across the UK and Europe.”
