Sky Sport’s new web/mobile TV service launches today, 6 July, following the promotion by Brothers & Sisters and MediaCom which began on Friday.

The Sky Go system allows subscribers to the Sky Sports TV channels and ESPN to be able to view live content on their iPhones, iPads and laptops as part of their subscription.

Sky is also planning to use public Wi-Fi network The Cloud, which it acquired earlier this year, to support Sky Go – allowing subscribers to access the service from locations such as hotels and airports.

The promotional campaign for the product, which included online, TV, print and outdoor advertising, was made by creative agency Brothers & Sisters and media agency MediaCom. The TV advert, which first aired on Friday 1 July, shows how the ‘folding down’ of TV into the digital format and features Peter Crouch and Dizzee Rascal.
