Birmingham agency Chapter has appointed Mark Baxter as its first 'Chapter Head'.

Baxter was previously client director at Lambie-Nairn and before that worked for Cogent and Libertine. He has handled clients including HMV, Waterstones, O2 and UEFA.

Chapter managing director, Mike Rose, said: "This is a significant appointment for the agency. It’s another statement of intent to remain true to our vision of having three close-working multi-disciplined Chapters; not separate departments.

"We will not grow beyond 30 people so we have to appoint the very best. I've worked with Mark previously and know he will bring both a depth of strategic insight and a real can-do attitude as he heads up the team."
