DC Thomson revamps The Weekly News
Dundee-based published DC Thomson has given title The Weekly News a new look.
The title was described by the publishing company as a ‘publishing saviour.’
A spokesperson said: "This publishing survivor, which began life in 1855, was a market-leading million-seller in the 1960s and 70s when it outperformed - and outlasted - long-departed rivals Weekend, Reveille and Titbits.
"However, the title has struggled to maintain its impact in recent years.
"The major revamp, under the auspices of new editor Donald Martin, also in charge of The Sunday Post, gives the weekly a clean, modern look, with a broad range of content offered up in colour-coded sections."
