Leeds digital agency Numiko has worked on the redesign of the BBC Radio 3 website, which launched this week.

Numiko was given the design task following a national procurement process and its brief was to "increase the number of listeners accessing audio on demand, and to help them uncover the wealth of information on the existing website".

The agency's managing director, David Eccles, said: "As the amount of online information and services available to users increases, so does the importance of understanding how users interact and behave.

"We have a methodical approach of evidence based design, which brings real result for our clients. We’re really proud to be working on one of the BBC’s most respected radio brands.”

The revamped site conforms to the BBC's new Global Experience Language, which aims to bring consistency across all BBC sites. It also introduces the new Radio 3 branding.
