The Market Creative has announced that it has ceased trading following the administration of HomeForm.

The agency picked up the £12m marketing account in April which saw it work with brands such as Kitchen’s Direct, Dolphin Bathrooms and Moben Kitchens.

Sue Benson, managing director of The Market Creative, commented: “We regretfully confirm that from today The Market Creative will cease trading. This is devastating news all round, but the blow from HomeForm has meant that we simply couldn’t continue. We have a team of extremely talented people who we have had to let go, but we would like to thank them and everyone in the industry who has supported us.”

11 members of staff are affected by the agency's closure.

The Market Creative launched marketing campaigns for each of HomeForm Group’s brands just last week, just days before the company announced that it would be forced to enter into administration, with MediaCom North handling the media account.
