Cross platform campaign created to promote Cher Lloyd debut single

A multi-platform campaign and brand to promote former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd has been created by Studio Output for Syco Music ahead of the release of her debut single.

Lloyds debut single ‘Swagger Jagger’ is set for release on 7 August, and so Mark Hardy, recently appointed marketing director for Syco Music appoint the agency having previously worked with him at Playstation on developing the brand identity for ‘Playstation Move’.

Hardy has been tasked with overseeing new and innovative marketing strategies for all artists at Syco Music, using a brand-led approach.

All work on the campaign, including specialist services such as styling, photography, web design, have been handled by Studio Output, working alongside a range of partners.

Ian Hambleton, partner/art director, Studio Output commented: “Cher has originality and a huge fan base, so we are curating some of the best talent in the market , and embracing technology to make this the best and most original campaign. This is a whole new way of getting music out there – it’s a fully integrated branding campaign that truly represents the artist, her personality and aspirations.”

The campaign will run across online through sites such as Cher’s own website, Facebook, YouTube, iTunes and Vevo, TV music channels, print with press, posters and outdoor adverts and apps for Android, Blackberry and iPhone.
