Asda marketing director quits to join Shop Direct
Asda’s marketing director Jon Owen has joined home shopping group Shop Direct to lead Very.
Owen, who only been appointed a year ago, will now report to Shop Direct’s retail director Gareth Jones.
He was previously director of marketing strategy for Asda before replacing Mark Sinnock as marketing director where he was made responsible for leading international marketing and customer insight.
Asda is now understood to be searching for Owen’s successor.
