Carpetright set for media review

Carpetright is set to review its £8m media planning and buying contracts for both Carpetright and Sleepright.

The accounts are currently held by Twenty Twenty Media Vision, which handles non broadcast media such as national and regional press, and Brilliant Media, which oversees ratio and TV media.

According to Media Week, the client has had ‘preliminary conversations’ with several media agencies, with both incumbents expected to compete should a pitch be called.

Today, Carpetright announced a downturn of 70% in annual profits with pre-tax profit for the year to 30 April at £6.6m, in contract with £22.3m from the same period last year.
