Blue Peter set for final show at Television Centre
The final Blue Peter to be broadcast from BBC’s Television Centre will go out later today before it makes its move with CBBC to MediaCityUK in Salford.
The final programme from London will include a World Record attempt for the most people hula-hooping simultaneously before the programme takes a summer break.
It will return later this year with a new garden situated on the roof of the BBC building at MediaCityUK.
Blue Peter has broadcast since 1958 and moved to Television Centre in West London two years later when it opened.
