JCDecaux adds to digital sales team

JCDecaux has added two new employees to its team in order to further its embrace of the digital network: Paul Carolan and Stacey Knight.

Paul Carolan has been appointed to the role of commercial director, a role created to harness digital technology as a new communication channels for clients. He previously held the role of advertising director at Absolute Radio.

Stacy Knight has joined the company as head of digital, with the aim of furthering dialogue with media and creative digital agencies. She joins from her position as head of group sales at Fox-owned media company IGN.

Following the appointment of Mark Bucknell to director of product planning, there have also been several promotions in JCDecaux.

Steve Cadwell has been promoted to regional business development manager, Matt Leggett to head of retail and Jim Cohen to head of rail. JCDecaux has said that these two sectors have seen an investment in new digital products.

The company says the appointments are intended to future-proof Outdoor’s place in a fast-evolving media landscape and come as JCDecaux rolls out digital networks nationwide and prepares for key digital launches.
