The NWDA has confirmed to The Drum that director of marketing Nigel Dove has left the regional development agency.

A spokesperson confirmed that Dove finished at the regional development agency yesterday and he is now expected to take up a new position with the Manufacturing Institute in Manchester.

Dove had been with the NWDA for almost 10 years and was in charge of its marketing department from early 2010, when he succeeded Peter Mearns.

His departure represents the latest step in the wind-down of the organisation, which is due to be closed by April 2012. It will be replaced by a new Local Enterprise Partnership.
