This Week saw the launch of a viral campaign for HEAD Tennis, fronted by British number one Andy Murray.

The short film ‘Get Closer’ will run on YouTube and Facebook and is the first part of a social media campaign for HEAD which will allow tennis fans to interact with Murray during Wimbledon.

The viral features a fictional day-in-the-life of Murray, and those who ‘Like’ the campaign Facebook page will be given access to more exclusive content, prizes and tweets from the player throughout Queens and Wimbledon.

“Using digital and social media in HEAD’s brand communication, we want to bring our consumers and our athletes closer together in an emotional and fun way,” commented Johan Eliasch, CEO of HEAD N.V. “We are proud to be partnering with Andy on such a unique campaign during the most prestigious tournament in the tennis calendar.”

Fans will be able to send personal message to Murray through the page, of which he will chose his favourites, which will be printed on his tennis racquet bag which he takes into centre court.
