Carling appoints new creative agency

Molson Coors has appointed VCCP Blue as the new creative agency for lager brand Carling.

VCCP Blue was chosen after a pitch, supported by ISBA, which included Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe / Y&R, McCann London, Fallon and the incumbent Beattie McGuiness Bungay.

Chris McDonough, marketing director at Molson Coors, said: "The pitch process has been both a demanding but incredibly rewarding experience.

"The quality of work presented was outstanding and VCCP Blue offered an excellent proposition which we believe can help us to broaden Carling’s appeal and consumer footprint while maintaining its number one status.”

Beattie McGuiness Bungay will continue to work with Molson Coors on its Grolsch, Cobra and Corona beer brands.
