Diageo appoints Carat Ireland to media buying account
Diageo has awarded Carat Ireland the media buying account for Ireland after the drinks giant pulled the account from Initiative.
The account, worth an estimated €15m, adds to the £26m Diageo account Carat already handles in the UK.
It is understood that the account move comes at a time when Diageo plans to make significant cuts at its Dublin marketing department, relocating some functions to its London HQ.
