McCann Erickson’s Birmingham office today boasts two new faces in the form of Barrie Robinson and Tim Jarvis.

The pair of “tarts” settled in the agency's Central office after "playing the field" at a number of other agencies.

Their arrival heralds a creative boost for the firm following the appointment of Vince McSweeney as senior executive creative director - a move which preceded a steady flow of fresh faced recruits who have steadily filled up desks as McSweeney makes his mark.

McSweeney said: “The fellas have been selling themselves to every Tom, Dick and Harry, including McCann’s. It was about time somebody made honest men out of them. They’re hard working with a great book and bursting with ideas. You’ve got to watch this space.”

Barrie added, “We noticed our names weren’t on ‘The List’, so we just crashed it.”

Both McCann Erickson’s latest recruits will be working for clients including Vauxhall, Saab, Lotus, Harley Davidson and Stanley tools.
