Northcliffe revenue down 10% in last month

The regional newspaper division of Daily Mail & General Trust Northcliffe Media, which run over 100 newspapers in the regions, has seen a fall in revenue of 10% over the last month.

According to The Guardian, the company, which will post its half year results this morning, will announced that the revenue of Northcliffe has declined by 9% year-on-year to £120m, with a 10% decline alone experience between April and the first weeks of May.

Advertising revenue is also down 9% to £85m in comparison with last year, while digital revenue has fallen by 2% to £9m as circulation revenue fells by 6% to £30m.
