BBC News app released for Google Android
The BBC News mobile app has now launched on Google Android, having previously been released on iPhone last year.
The free-to-download app will includes breaking news stories from the BBC website, as well as broadcast content.
The app was originally launched on iPhone and iPad in July last year, while BBC Worldwide is also set to launch an international version of the app for Android.
It is expected that the app will also be developed for further platforms in the near future.
