The National Trust has retained AV Browne for its Northern Ireland creative and media account, extending its current contract by two additional years.

The National Trust is a significant Northern Ireland tourism provider, annually welcoming some 3.5 million visitors to sites such as Giant’s Causeway, Mount Stewart and Florence Court.

The Trust’s communications & PR consultant Maurica Lavery – pictured left, next to AV Browne’s Sarah Corr (centre) and Stephen Moore (right) – said the contract renewal with AV Browne is “testament to their ever creative and innovative approach to marketing”.

She added: “With the next few years forecasted to be key within Northern Ireland’s tourism sector, the opening of the new Giant’s Causeway visitor centre and a massive £6m investment planned for Mount Stewart, it is important that the Trust is well positioned within the market place.

“Whilst the quality of submissions received from local agencies during the tender process were very strong, we have retained AV Browne on the account.

“We have always found AV Browne to be a very imaginative and friendly company to work with; we feel that they are best placed to help us deliver our key marketing objectives in this exciting period for the Trust and tourism here.”
