A flurry of complaints prompted by a topless Britney Spears lookalike has put Britain’s Got Talent in Ofcom’s firing line.

The media regulator is considering mounting an investigation into 29 year old Lorna Bliss’s performance, despite her key assets being obscured by Union Jack logos.

Parents were left aghast at the raunchy antics however and fans weren’t too impressed either, Bliss sailed through to the second round despite three no votes, leading to concern that show bosses are trying to “sex up” the format.

Ofcom are currently assessing whether to take action against the show’s producers after previously criticising ITV for broadcasting similarly raunchy impersonations of Rhianna and Christina Aguilera on X Factor.
